I have a two year old Hayward T-15 with 13 yr old Pro Logic Control Board that I have to reset most of the time get it working. I purchased a new Cell, which seems to be a little better, but am still having similar issues so I must assume it’s the Board at fault. Once I get the new Cell working I get consistent readings on salt, volts and amperage in both negative and positive states. I’m in Austin TX area and the problem does seem to be less in the warmer weather so I’m thinking of bad solders on the board but what component could be responsible for this issue?

Good morning Bill, Thank you for choosing inyo pools. Given the age of your Pro Logic board (13 years) and the temp-sensitive intermittent failures, the likely culprit is a failed or failing Thermistor (specifically the current limiter CL-151). When they degrade, they overheat and break the circuit, causing the system to stop producing, but often work again once they cool down.
Thanks for the reply. Can you indicate which component would need replaced on the pic below. I did a google search but came up empty.

Given the 13-year age of the board, a thermistor or capacitor replacement is worth trying, but a complete main PCB replacement may be necessary if the board is failing in multiple areas. I have attached a link to the board for this unit Hayward® GLX-PCB-PRO - Main Printed Circuit Board OEM Replacement for ProLogic® Pool Automation Systems - INYOPools.com
