Looking to replace a weir door which was missing when I bought my home. I uploaded two photos showing the skimmer opening and the number on the skimmer base “PAT-3067879” The skimmer cover is Swimquip WC27-92. Appreciate any tips!
We have two options that will replace the weir door on your Swimquip skimmer. The original door is part number 4020-02. That door would be held in place by the hinge.
The other option is a spring-loaded weir door. This would be ideal if there was no way to remove your old hinge. The part number is 4202-10.
When I had to replace the weir door on my old pool, tracking down the right part number was the trickiest part. The part wasn’t around in local shops, so I just measured mine and used pictures to match with what I found online. Sometimes you can get by with a generic spring-loaded one, but it may fit a bit tighter or looser than the original.
