Recently had to replace a water hose from the sand filter to the pool. I cannot stop the hose from coming loose and slipping off at either end. Cannot push the hose as far up on the receptacle as the old hose. You can tell this from the markings on the outlet. Tighte the hose clamp hard as you possibly can and it will still slip off.
Suggestions please!

May have accidentally solved my problem. Went back out earlier today to see what I could see.
Tried putting the hose back on one more time and noticed that this time it slid up further on the outlet.
Learned that pushing seems to do better that pushing and twisting.
Learned that heat will make the hose go on easier. Temp was about 92 and that seemed to loosen up the hose and let it get a btter grip.
Hooked it up and the hose doesn’t slip offeasily anymore. Holding my breath now to see if it holds.
