VS Motor for Hayward TriStar SP3210X15

I have a Hayward Tristar single speed pump Model SP3210X15 (1.50 hp 1.65thp) with a century SP3210Z1M motor Y56Y frame with 1.10 S.F.I wanted to know what variable speed motor that can replace it so that i don’t have to change the plumping. Also if i need to change the impleller and seals… it only 5 months old.

Thank you for contacting Inyo. The variable speed motor that you can use with your Hayward TriStar SP3210X15 is model ECM16SQU. The ECM16SQU is a 1.65THP VS motor. The impeller would not need to be changed.

We would recommend replacing the shaft seal when you replace the motor. The shaft seal is part number 5250-250.
