Two Speed Jandy Stealth not click on.

Hello,

My Jandy stealth 2hp 2 speed pump won’t click on high by itself. It’ll buzz and stop and keep trying.

If the pump is on low speed first and I turn on high it’ll click on.

Do I need to replace the motor? If so can I replace the motor with a variable speed?

You might not need to replace the motor. It sounds like it may be a bad capacitor. What is the part number or catalog number of the motor?

It’s a Century two speed 0-196159-06

The start capacitor is part number 5270-15. The run capacitor is part number 19566235.
