triflow secsor

i just replaced my flow sensor with the new sensor with program box attached.  I cant get the system to produce chlorine on “a” or “b” program,  my salt cell is only a couple yrs old and looks clean.  when i installed the new sensor i did not attach the small circuit board that was on the old sensor. please give me some feedback on troubleshooting… thank you

Hello Jogletree - We’d be glad to try and assist you. What is the make and model of the system? What is the serial number of your salt system? What was the part number of the item you installed?

i have  a Aquapure by Jandy Model Apure  s/n c10gg0735

my salt cell is a jandy plc 1400

and the new sensor i put on is the chlorine generator cell port sensor kit   R0452500

the aquapure firmware is 12 04 0A 08 05 190

also have a service light on with a 123 code, but the service light seems to only be on when pump is in low speed.

The 123 code is usually caused by extremely low current to the cell. The corrective actions include:

  1. Clean or replace cell if necessary.
  2. Check DC cord. Make sure the cord is securely connected to the cell and control box. Check for any damage to the cord.

is there a way to replace the metal fins inside the jandy plc 1400 salt cell? i can see part of metal fin broke off.

Unfortunately the metal fins inside the PLC1400 cell are not sold separately. The only option is to replace the complete cell.
