We have a fibreglass pool in our back yard(I’ve attached its picture). My niece is staying with us, she would like to have a mirror inside the pool. She is going for swimming training and she states that it is indeed necessary to have a mirror for her practice at home.
I have done a bit online reading about the same and loved the idea of having a reflection of myself inside the pool! Lol…she might think I’m doing this purely for her(I mean mainly for her, but I liked it too)!
My best friend is working in a glass and mirror company(only a few minutes drive from my home) as a creative designer, he came home yesterday to collect the details (including the measurements and the type of the mirror). We are almost there and have to find a pro to install the mirror. Before that, I’d like to hear from the people on this forum who has pool mirror, especially the cons of having the same.
My mom is having a few doubts, like what if there a chance of breaking the mirror, also she is concerned about the maintenance and cleaning part.
Is there any need to damage the existing pool to install a mirror? I won’t be forwarding the plan if it has many complicated risks factors/effectively damaging our current pool.
