I recently purchased a Swimline solar roller # 50500 for my 15x25 above ground pool. I am trying to buy a third mount, but can’t seem to find anyplace or anyone that can help me locate how to math the purchase. The roller comes with 2 mounts but when I roll the cover up and am in the pool the rolled cover is lawing on the top rail of the pool. With a third mount I can have the post sit in that third mount and the rolled cover would be stored nicely rather than just laying on the pool rail. I have tried contacting outlets that sell the rolled and even tried to contact swimline itself with no progress. Can anyone help?
That’s going to be tough to find. How about using something like PVC pipe - there are feet/flanges that you can use to hold them in place and put a short length of the appropriate-sized pipe in it.
I am sure that the manufacturer produces these parts for new items to be sold. Isn’t there a way to contact the company to get another part ,of course for a price. What would happen if a new reel was sent out and there was a problem with one of these because of shipment. Wouldn’t they replace the defective or damaged part.
They (hopefully) would but, since many units like this are manufactured and packaged overseas, distributing dealers don’t like to open up new products for parts (we don’t carry this unit). If you can’t find the parts, you may need to reach out to the manufacturer again to get an extra mount. It’s their busy time of year, so it may take a while to get a response.
