Sta-Rite Pool Pump Motor Replacement

What I have on the blown pool pump motor is:

  • Strainer Lid: 16920-11

  • Seal plate: C103–137P1

  • Diffuser:  C1-200PA

  • Impeller: C105-137P EB

  • 230V

I do not have the usual information panel on the motor.

This must be a Sta-Rite and perhaps a Dura Glas / Max E Glas.

Most likely a 56Y Frame (too big for a 48y).

To replace the motor, we will need to know the HP and RPM.

The impeller screws off in the same direction you normally screw things off.  The impeller is not tightened by a bolt to the motor shaft.

Facing the motor shaft, the impeller is designed to turn anti clockwise.

HELP!  :-)  What would the replacement motors be?  What about matching them up with the impeller and diffuser (that has to be replaced too (together with of course the o-rings and shaft seal)).

Thank you.

Jean
