Salt Chlorinator Setting

Have a 12,000 gal pool. Have AquaLogic P/S 4 salt generator system.

Have had salt gen. off for 6 months after having had pool refinished. Replaced hayward T-15 salt cell with new one.

Approximately what % salt setting should I start it at? Old cell had degraded some & was usually kept at about 10% on average.

Hello FloridaMan - We’d be glad to assist you. We would recommend starting at 10% since that worked well with the old salt cell. Let it run for a couple days and test the chlorine level. Adjust the percentage up or down as needed.
