I have a pair of 120V Hayward color logic lights for my pool. One of the lights is not working. I checked power supply to the light leads, and power is good. So, I think I need to replace the light. The lead on the light is 150 feet. I tried to pull it back with a tag line on the cable, but could not pull it out. So, I am looking at digging up the conduit and putting a junction box in closer to the pool (probably right behind the location of the light, and of course, above the water elevation. So then I can go with a 150 ft lead, and just connect up there. Any other thoughts on what to do?
Correction. Will go with a 50 ft lead, not 150 ft lead.
Hi GeorgeV,
What you laid out sounds great, here you can view the Hayward ColorLogic Lights. I would also add one of these Pool Light Cord Stoppers to prevent water from going back from the nice into the conduit. Finally we have two different Pool Light Installation Video’s which you should find helpful, I have listed both of those below.
Thank You
