Our inground pool was built in 1995. The pool light has had a leaky gasket for years and I’d like to replace the entire fixture. When we last had the pool resurfaced in 2003, the contractor was unable to find a light. We plan to have it resurfaced agin soon and I’d like to replace the light. The fixture looks like stainless steel and is about 4 inches wide at it’s top and about 4 inches high. There is no writing on it. The lens is about 3.75 inches in diameter and labeled Wade Design. Attached are photos. I need to find a new light fixture that will fit in the existing opening. I haven’t been able to find any fixture online that looks like ours. A lot of the initial pool parts were PacFab. Thanks.
coincedently I was just trying to replace the bulb in what I think is this same fixture today. It has never worked (since we bought the house) and since I was replacing my pool light bulb I was kind of looking forward to getting the spa light working by replacing the bulb as as well. Mine is all rusted out so I don’t even know if it can be repaired. Probably in the same boat as you needing a replacement fixture. Here’s the info on my light and maybe that will help you if it is in fact the same. My house was built in 1994. PAC FAB 64-311X
Ours is also likely a PAC FAB 64-311X. Were you able to find a replacement for it that fits? We’re getting our pool resurfaced in two weeks and I’d like to replace the light before then. Thanks.
Hi,
Thanks for the photos. Do you know if you have 120V or 12V if 12 Volt then It looks like the direct replacement would be the Pentair Spa Brite 12V but it does look like the 120V Spa Brite is currently out of stock. If you have 120V then you might be able to color changing and use the Pentair Intellibrite 120V LED Color Changing Light Below I have listed the dimensions for both lights which are the same.

We have the 12V. I found a Pentair Intellibrite 12V that should work. I believe it’s the same dimensions as the Spa Brite. That’s for the photos with dimensions.
We purchased the Pentair 601012 Intellibrite and it fits perfectly and works great.
Awesome! Any pictures? If so we would love to see the light in action and how it mounts up.
Sorry, I didn’t take any photos of the installation, but should have. I followed the INYO Pools online video for replacing the light. I had to pull about 50 feet of cable, but had no issues using a pull line. The new light fits the existing stainless steel niche perfectly and the cover screw lined up. The original light was 26 years old and hadn’t worked in about 20 years due to a bad gasket and water intrusion. Here is the new light in use set to blue. It lights up the pool cage and patio area. Forgive the pool surface condition; we’re having it resurfaced next week.
Thanks for sharing, that looks awesome!
Thanks for your help finding the correct replacement and your helpful online how-to videos!
I’m so glad we could help!
