Looking for your help identifying and replacing my Anthony Apollo Pump motor. I was able to separate the motor and bracket from the pump (4 - 5/8 bolts). Unfortunately there is no information on the motor itself. I can send you photos of everything to help. Please help me.
Thanks William
Hello William - You can post pictures directly to this forum or you can email upload@inyopools.com. Is there a part number on the pump impeller?
There is a number on the bracket between the pump and impeller (C2-57D) which I believe is a Sta-rite pump. There is also a number on the impeller, but it is very worn. I believe it says (C5-1660), but I am not certain. I have attached photo of each. There is also a little metal tag on the motor case that says AS105-2B, but that doesn’t seem to corolate to anything. The filter system is a Anthony Apollo grid filter and the pool is an Anthony Stanley gunite pool (16000) gallons. If you could tell me what type and size of replacement motor that would work with my pump, it would be greatly appreciated. I also think it is a 220 volt connection (two black hot wires were connected.)
thanks again, photos to follow.
William
I wasn’t able to add the photos due to the size limits. Let me know if there is anything I can provide.
thanks, William
Try emailing the pictures to upload@inyopools.com. Put “Attn Rob” in the subject line.
The impeller has part number C5-166D. This is a 1HP full rated impeller. The replacement motor would be model SK1102.
We recommend replacing the shaft seal when you replace the motor. The shaft seal is part number AS-1000.
If you need the bronze shaft extension, the part number is 5050-04.
