Replace DE filter with Sand Filter

I currently have a very old Hayward DE4820 filter with a SP715XR50 2" multiport.

I would like to replace the DE filter with a more simple sand filter. Can you reccomend a good replacement?

I have a Superflo VS 1.5 hp pump and the pool is about 25,000 gal.
