Looking over the old topics I see that there may be a procedure to re-calibrate the salt reading on a CPSC36 generator. I tried to go to the Compupool site but it would not process my questions (just went to a blank page) and the phone number previously listed in other discussions is disconnected. Do you have access to the procedure or have any other contact info?
Thank you for contacting Inyo. We have a document that explains how to recalibrate a Compupools CPSC system. Here is a link https://images.inyopools.com/cloud/documents/calibration-instructions-2011-models.pdf
Thanks for the pdf. I followed the instructions and this is what happened… Firstly, I have the older system with the post not the button (not sure if that makes a difference). When I went into the calibrate mode the upper right showed -2 but neither of the polarity leds were on. I cycled power and tried it again and got the same result, so I repeatedly hit the right arrow until I got the 33. then held down the up arrow for about 5 seconds and the polarity 1 turned on and the number changed to -6. Again, I hit the right arrow to get to 32 and tried holding down the up arrow again but nothing changed. I then rebooted the system. When it came up it displayed “Output Off”. I increased the output to 70% and it looked like it was working, so far so good and I put away my tools. When I returned about 15 min later I had a red Low Salt led.
Now I have 2 questions…1) Do I need to recalibrate again using some other values so I don’t get the Low Salt led? and 2) How do I get the system to stop comming up with “Output Off”? In case it matters, I have never configured the timers (I didn’t know about them). I was also getting this Output off before I did the recalibrate, but I thought that could have been due to having the over salt when it previously turned off.
Thanks
Unfortunately, I’m out of troubleshooting guides for the Compupool. We recommend that you contact Compupool Australia. That is the head office and they will answer tech support questions. Here is a link to their contact page. https://www.compupool.com.au/contactus.html
