I am replacing an old Hayward pool/spa heater (H400IDL) that has not been working for several years. We had several problems with Hayward heaters and I want to switch to Raypak.
You have a great price on a unit we are interested in:
RP2100 Digital Heater - R366A - Cupro-Nickel - Natural Gas
We are not worried about the slight drop in BTU output as the Hayward unit was probably too strong for our pool and we really only use it for the hot tub.
Visually, it looks like the Raypak unit should replace our old Hayward unit just fine.
Before ordering it, is there anything we should be aware of with the conversion from Hayward to Raypak ? Are there any extra parts that we might need (outside of the obvious plumbing and PVC connections) ? Anything else we should know ?
We will be hiring a professional installer to do the job. Although we have not found one yet.
Thank you for your support and the YouTube videos. I tried to use the chat to talk to you guys, but it would not work today.
