Put in a Speck Eco MV motor and am pleased with the results. Is it OK to run water up to my solar pannels at a low speed? Old 1 hp pump ran full speed and pushed the water to solar with no problems, water gushed from bottom of pool. New pump running at low speed seems to barley move the water thru the panels. Good or bad??/

Hello Bandyboy - Most systems require the variable speed to at least be running on a medium speed in order to get the water to flow at the proper speed through the panels. Check the solar panel manufacturer’s desired flow rate and set the variable speed pump to maintain that rate. We would recommend installing a flow meter in the plumbing so that you get dial in the exact gallons per minute needed.
