I am trying to size a pool pump for the following:
My Data:
Filter: 70 gpm / 4,200 gph
Pool: 35,000 gal
Pump suctions: two, skimmer approx 60 ft from pump, main drain approx 30 ft from pump
Piping: 1 1/2 inch
Electrical: 220v prefer a single speed pump
Which pump would you recommend? (and if you could take a moment to describe why it would be appreciated)
I have been looking at the Pentair Superflow pumps.

Thanks for the detailed information that is quite helpful. Based on your pool details I would suggest a 1.5 HP SuperFlo Pump this pump will output roughly 70 GPM with your pool specifications which is under the 75 GPM max flow rating of your filter. We suggestion turning over all of your pool water in 8 hours and 70 GPM would turn over exactly 33,000 gallons in 8 hours so this seems to be a perfect match. Let us know if you have any questions.
