I bought a new Century B2984 2 speed 2.0 HP 230v to replace my old Century motor. The terminal block is a bit different between motors and I’m hoping to get confirmation on the correct way to wire the new unit.
Hi Mylo, here is a quick rundown:
Old Terminal 1 goes to New Terminal L2 (Common)
Old Terminal 2 goes to New Terminal L1 (High Speed)
Old Terminal 3 goes to New Terminal A (Low Speed).
Don’t forget to put the ground wire to the green screw and the bonding wire to the bonding lug on the new motor.
