I have a Hayward SP2610X15 pump with a motor out. I think the exact replacement is the uprated 1.5 horse UST1152. Can I replace it with the full rated ST1152? Will it use the same seals (go-kit)?

You are correct the UST1152 1.5 HP Up Rated Replacement Motor is the correct replacement motor for your Hayward SP2610X15 Super Pump 1.5 HP. The ST1152 Full Rated motor is equivalent to a 2 HP uprated motor, however if you went with this larger motor then you would need to replace your impeller with an SPX2615C 2 HP Uprated Impeller the reason being is that if you stayed with your 1.5 HP impeller then you would be paying the operational cost to run a 2 HP motor but only getting the water output of the 1.5 HP impeller. Regardless of which motor you go with we would suggest replacing your seals and this would be the Super Pump Go-Kit3.
