Hi I have a Pentair 0-177474-01 Pump motor that I need to replace. It is 1 HP. The pump is a WF24. When I check with Pentair they say it should be 3/4 HP. What model number can I use for a almond 1 HP for the WF 24? Thanks

Thanks for the post. You currently have a 1 HP Up Rated motor which is identical to a 3/4 HP Full Rated motor, the reason these are the same is that the 3/4 HP motor has a higher Service Factor (SF) giving it the same True HP (THP). This is easiest shown by running the math…
1 HP Up Rated x 1.25 Service Factor = 1.25 True HP
3/4 HP Full Rated x 1.65 Service Factor = 1.25 True HP
The motor which is on your Pentair Whisperflo Pump is manufactured by a company called AO Smith / Century we carry the After Market Version of this motor which comes in black or if you want the OEM version of this motor it is in Almond.

These are the exact same motors made by the same manufacturer the only difference is the color, we have the black version in stock and it normally takes 2-3 business days for delivery. The Almond version is special order and normally takes 7-10 business days for delivery.
When replacing your motor we would suggest a Tune Up Kit which includes the gaskets and shaft seal for your pump and you would require this Pentair Whisperflo Tune Up Kit.
