pump collapse

Walked out on my porch this evening and the sand filter had collapsed.  It is completely sucked in.  What caused this and how do we fix it.  It is brand new and only been running for a week.

We have a NE6150A (18") pump.

I have to admit I have never seen this occur before, could you post a few photos of your collapsed filter, to post an image click on the mountain icon in the text editor. I have included a screenshot below on how to do this. Did you purchase this filter from us? If so can you give me your order #.

The pump and filter came with the pool that I order from family pool fun.  My customer PO is 746257.  I am trying to upload a few pics, but not having any success.  I’ll keep trying.
