Postion of the Pureline salt cell

I just purchased the Pureline salt cell to replace my Hayward T-15.  When replacing the cell,  does it matter if the cord side of the cell is up or down when mounted in a parallel type fashion.  I have read in other places that it makes a differnece. Hope the figures below makes sense in relation to my question.

The salt cell can be mounted in either direction however if you are using a dual-speed or variable speed pump with low flow then it is better to have the hump pointed down as this will ensure all of the titanium blades get covered in water.
