Thanks in advance

Kenneth Wagner

Hi @Kenneth You would need the 1HP UST1102 Replacement Motor Can you double check your pump model #? I think it should be SP3007X10AZ Hayward Super II Pump if you do have a Hayward Super II then you need the Hayward Super II Tune Up Kit and the 1 HP Super II Impeller. If your pump is not a a Hayward Super II then please post photo’s of your pump to this post.

looking for a replacement pump motor, motor key A100ELL. DO YOU HAVE A REPLACEMENT IF SO PRICE AND AVAILABILITY.

Hi John62,

You would require the USQ1102 1 HP Motor which is a replacement for your Sta-Rite A100ELL we have this motor in stock for $169 with FREE shipping. Whenever you replace your motor we recommend replacing your shaft seal, many times if you use your old shaft seal you may have leaking. Do you know the make and model of your pump I believe you may a Sta-Rite Max-E-Glas or Dura-Glas, this information would help us determine which seal you need. You may also find a part # on the pump like P2RA or P4E which would help too.

Thank You

My Max e Pro Sta-Rite Pool Motor c48l2pa105 needs to be replaced. When the pump started up , their was noise of gear grinding then an electrical POP and some smoke. Can I just replace the motor or do I need to replace the Motor Pump and housing? What is the replacement part # for the Motor?

Joe

Hello Joe - There are two motor options that can replace your C48L2PA105. If your motor is an uprated 1.5HP, the replacement would be model USQ1152. If you have the full rated 1HP, the replacement is model SQ1102. Both motors have the same total HP (1.65) and either one will work.

We would also recommend replacing the seals when you replace the motor. The seal kit for the Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro is GOKIT79.

Thank you for shopping with INYOpools.com!

I have a Century Centurion motor 2HP 56Y Frame, B855. I have paid someone to replace the motor at least 3 times in the last 10 years. Now it shuts off and hums when I try to restart. It did that about 4 months ago and I paid someone to replace the capacitor. Now that has failed again. The motor gets really hot. I am ready to fix this myself.

The pump is a sta-Rite P6RA6G-207L.

Should I buy another century motor and a go-kit for the pump? Replace the capacitor again?

Buy a Sta-rite motor and pump? Any better options?

Hello tangocharlie,

The best option would be to replace the pump completely. Generally speaking, new complete pumps have a longer lifespan than most replacement motors. The direct replacement pump will be the Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro 2 HP Up Rate Standard - P6RA6G207L and it comes with a one year warranty. The next option would be replacing the motor, A.O. Smith 2 HP, 56Y Frame, Up-Rate Motor - B855 , and the seals with the Tune Up Kit Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro - GOKIT79. This option would be less expensive than replacing the complete pump. The down side is you would need to inspect the pump parts to make sure they are not warped, melted or cracked . If any parts are damaged, they will need to be factored into the cost. The least likely option would be a capacitor replacement. This is the most cost effective choice, but there is no guarantee the capacitor is the issue and you will most likely end up replacing the motor/pump. Hope this helps you and feel free to contact us by phone or online if you would like to place an order.

Thank you,

I need to replace my old pump motor which apperas to be this model - Marathon Electric 1.5 HP Square Flange Motor (C1246,5KC39UN6086X) - INYOPools.com

Is this a good replacement option Century (A.O. Smith) 1.5 HP Up Rate Motor, Square Flange 48Y Frame, Single Speed - Model USQ1152 - INYOPools.com or would you recomment something else?

Also, can you point me in the direction of the seals I will need to replace?

Thanks

Kirt

Hello KirtFields - Your old motor was model C1246. That was a 1.5 HP uprated square flange motor. The replacement us model USQ1152.

In order to recommend the seals, we’ll need to know the make and model of the pump side. If you are unsure of the model, post a picture of the complete pump.

Thanks for the reply!

Here is a photo…

Also, whould this be a good EE replacement?

Century (A.O. Smith) 1.5 HP Up Rate Energy Efficient Motor, Square Flange 48Y Frame, Single Speed - Model UQC1152 - INYOPools.comMy pool pump

It looks like you have the Sta-Rite Dura-Glas model. The tune up kit for the Dura-Glas is GOKIT54. This kit is used on models manufactured since 1998. It will work on older units if the copper cone is removed from the seal plate.

Yes, the energy efficient option would be UQC1152.

Thanks!

thanks

sounds like full replacement is the best option.

Thank you Tangocharlie! You are correct.

I have a Pac-Fab PFII-1-3/4    / 34-2353 pump.  It is starting to leak around the pump housing and back plate.  Do you have a GOKit for this pump.

Hi Larrys,

Based on your part #'s you would require this Pentair PacFab Pinnacle Tune Up Kit

Thank You

Hi,

I have to replace my Sta-rite motor pump JWPS5F7L-2A2  Motor # S48B74A03 1.5 HP since it corroded. We have a tight space and platform which our current motor sits on as well as the structural wall it abuts so we are concerned on the dimensions of the replacement.  We want to kp power of 1.5 HP so we think we need the BN35V1 and not the BN25V1. Which would recommend.

Also, I need some clarification. Whether to get the JWPA seal or the Seal go kit? What would you recommend.

Hi Tscanlon,

I would suggest going with the BN35V1 1.5 HP Replacement Motor. It is a good idea to go with a Go Kit over just the shaft seal and here is the needed JWPA 1 HP & 1.5 HP GoKit

Thank You
