Pool pump humming then overheating and pool motor not doing anything

Hi,

My Marathon pool pump is making a humming noise then overheating and turning off and the A.O. Smith motor is not doing anything. I replaced the two pool pump capacitors and the pool motor capacitor without success. Also the motor’s propeller is moving freely. I’m assuming that I need to replace something, but I don’t know whether it’s the pump or the motor. Please see attached photos. Any suggestions? Thank you!!!pool systempool systemPool PumpPool Motor

Hello Chelsea - We would suggest replacing the motors. The replacement motor for the main pool pump is model B128. The replacement motor for the booster pump is model B625.
