I am looking to replace the electric motor which has a howling bearing.
Your SPX3202Z1VSPE appears to be the right thing, however on your photo of the label, it shows a Century M48AB35A04 number and my label lists M48AB19A04??
The lower left number SP3210Z1ECM2 is the same on both. Could you tell me any diferences?
Our SPX3202Z1VSPE Variable Speed Replacement Motor would be the correct direct replacement motor for your motor listed in your photo. You will also require this Hayward Tristar Seal Kit There should be no differences between these two motors with the exception of the low-speed amp draw on the current motor is .05 and the high-speed amp draw is 10.5 however this negligible and will not impact the performance of the motor.
May I jump in with a question here? I need to replace this motor and pump, what is the best choice? Sorry here is the data. ~12k inground pool in C Fla. - pump is a Century M48AB19A04, SP3210Z1ECM2, listed as 1.85 HP. I want to replace the motor and pump as they are sun beat, variable speed motor preferred. Thanks in advance for your advice!
