i have a 30,000 gallon pool (approx. 40x20) with a spa combination. Rarely need to heat the pool and usually only when temperature is above 70 degrees (just to take some of the chill off). Need to replace worn out heater. Would 336,000 BTU unit be sufficient.
Hello Artman - A 336k btu would be sufficient for your size pool. On average, that size heater will give your pool a 1.1°F rise an hour.
