What model Hayward sand filter and control on top should be used for 17,000 gal swimming pool?

Hi RickRick,

It really depends on the size pump which is on your pool. If your pump is 1.5 HP or smaller then I would suggest the Hayward 24" S244T Sand Filter and if your budget can afford it the S270T2 27" Sand Filter would be even better. The larger filter would put less stress on your motor resulting in longer life from your motor, you would also be looking at more time before needing to clean your filter.
