I’m looking to replace a hayward DE ec65 filter with a cartridge filter. I have an approximate 18k gallon pool that’s using a hayward 3/4hp super pump.
What filters should I look at and what’s the average time between cleanings?
I live in Central PA if the area helps to describe approximate cleaning intervals.
Forgot to add that it’s an inground pool as well.
We’d be glad to assist you. We would recommend the Hayward C900. The C900 is a 90 square foot cartridge filter. That filter would be sufficient for your pool size and pump.
It’s hard to say how often you’ll need to clean the filter. It all depends on how much debris is getting into the pool. On average, people clean these filters every other week.
