I am looking to replace a 2hp 1.1 SF motor on a Pentair Whisperflo WF-28 with a VS motor. I am looking at the V-Green 1.65 hp and 2.7 hp motors. Could I go with the 1.65 hp since the diffuser and impeller on the WF-28 are both rated within range for a 1.5 hp motor or should I stick with the 2.7 to avoid potential motor damage with a smaller motor turning a larger impeller?
