Pentair Tagelus TA60 ClearPro Sand Filter

Looks like I will be replacing my 12-year old Tagelus TA-60 filter. The original installer “cemented” the 6-way valve directly to the sand filter, so I had no way to service my unit (replace sand) over the past 12 years.

Pentair website shows a new version of the Tagelus TA-60 called “ClearPro” technology that is suppose to improve water clarity 60% by removing particles up to five times smaller.

Anyone have experience with this new Pentair “ClearPro” technology? I haven’t been able to find any pricing information on this new unit or availability. Does anyone knows where to purchase one (Florida)?

Unfortunately Pentair does not allow this filter to be sold online so we do not have experience with the Clear Pro TA-60. We do carry this standard Tagelus TA-60D Pool Filter and we have had good luck with this model. This filter is in stock ready to ship.
