i am looking for a matching return jet to my current ones. a couple of the retainter(lock) rings have become brittle, and need replacing. i went to my local pool store, and got a “replacement”, but unfortunately, the existing 1.5" wall fitting for my pool doesn’t match the generic one i bought. i am unable to remove the wall fitting on a couple of jets, so i wanted to just replace the retainer ring and 3/4" eyeball. However, the new retainer ring is just a wee bit larger than mine.
i “believe” i may have the Pentair 540021 jets in my pool, but cannot confirm this without having a Pentair replacement to compare. Note the 6 tabs on the inner ring. I am unable to find a matching picture for any of the Pentair 540021 return jets to compare before i order. There are no other markings or manufacturer names anywhere on the retainer rings i have in my pool.
any help would be appreciated.
