Why do the pump seal kits (GO-KIT79) come with a PTFE Lubricant while the description for the PART#LUBE-10ML StatesPTFE Lubricant will destroy the seals?

The lubricant that comes in the gokit is designed for the o-rings and gaskets and not the shaft seal. It is not mandatory to lubricate your shaft seal but the LUBE-10MIL will give you an extra layer of protection on your shaft seal.
