I have a heat pump for my pool in Arizona and it only runs about 3 months a year, is it neccesary to run the water through the heater every day my pump is running.
Hi Nico, it is not necessary to run water through your heat pump every day. Just turn the diverter valve (assuming you have one) to stop the flow to the heater when it isn’t needed. Your heater should have a safety mechanism in it to prevent it from turning on when there is no flow.
