I am looking to replace a 15 year old pump/motor with something more efficient - variable speed?
I have had many algae issues in the past and want to run 24 hrs/day but at lower speed.
What do you recommend for a 24 foot round above ground pool?

There isn’t currently a ton of options for 115v variable speed pumps. One that comes to mind is the Pentair Superflo model 342001.
Another option would be a dual speed pump. Something like the Pentair Dynamo model 340204 would be sufficient.
Thanks for your reply. The wiring is rated 600V, so I am going to switch to 230V at the same time.
I just need to get a 230V GFCI breaker for my panel.
Is 1.5HP the right size for a 24’ round pool?
Either a 1HP or 1.5HP would be ideal for a 24’ round pool.
