I need two replacement skimmer covers but don’t want to purchase unless I’m sure parts will fit. Pool and skimmers are 30+ years old. Not sure of original Hayward model number (I’ve replaced weirs and baskets so can’t find model number). Current covers are 9 7/8" diameter (top) and 8 3/8 diameter (underneath). Look similar to covers shown for models 1070 and 1075 with two rectangular finger holes. Do have have a replacement cover that you are sure will fit?
Hello- The cover for the Hayward SPX1070 skimmer is the Cover, White (spx1070c). The dimensional information on this cover is an outside diameter of 9.88" The cover for the Hayward SPX1075 is the Cover, White (spx1075c1). The dimensional information on this cover is an outside diameter of 9". Although you do not have any model information of your current skimmer to confirm, I am very confident you will need the SPX1070 replacement cover. Thank you for your question!!
