Hi all,
I hired a licensed electrician to wire my Jacuzzi pump to 115v but the pump turned on and after less than a minute it slowed down and turned off on its own. See a picture of the wiring he did. Please let me know if this is correct to run on 115v.

Patrick, It’s difficult to tell from the photo. Can he send a close-up shot of the black plug? There are 2 wires on it. If only one is connected, he is wired for 230v.
