What relacement motor do I need for my motor and what else is required to do the job correctly?

Hello Dagerj - The replacement motor is model B2842.

We recommend replacing the seals when you replace the motor. In order to recommend the seals, we’ll need to know the make and model of the pump end.

The pump is a Jandy Stealth

The following seals will get you back up and running. The shaft seal is part number 5020-087. The backplate o-ring is part number 5020-136. The diffuser o-ring is part number 5020-116.

I received the replacement parts.  I received 2 diffuser o-rings.  Upon disassembly of the old motor/pump I didn’t see but one o-ring.  Where does the second one go or is it not needed?

Your pump only requires one diffuser o-ring. For some reason, Jandy includes two in the package.
