The proper replacement motor for your AO Smith C48K2N143B3 is this AO Smith - Century UST1102 1 HP Replacement Motor. We highly recommend a tune up kit when replacing your motor, do you know the make and model of your pool pump? The most common pump this motor is used on is the Hayward Super Pump and if you have a Super Pump then you will need the Hayward Super Pump Seal Kit.
