Just want to confirm that a Century 1.5 HP Square Flange 56Y Up Rate Motor - B2854 is compatable with a Jandy PlusHP PHPM 1.5 (it looks like it to me).

Also, what type shaft seal or GOkit do you recommend for the combination above?

Hi Derrick - good job!  The B2854 motor is a perfect replacement for your Jandy PHPM1.5 pump.

We don’t have Tune-Up Kits for those pumps, but we can recommend a Pump Shaft Seal 3/4" - R0445500 if your pump serial number is earlier than P08FF0001 or this Jandy Pump Shaft Seal 5/8" - R0479400 if it is serial number P08FF0001 or later. It might be wise to also get a new Backplate O-Ring to be sure it seals perfectly when you replace the motor and replace the shaft seal.
