Hi,

i have a pump motor Motor 56j Thrd Up 1.5 Hp (b229se)  that just burnt out and i’m looking for a replacement.

which energy efficient motor would you reccomend?

Hello Daniele - We’d be glad to assist you. We have a couple energy efficient options that will replace your B229SE. Our most energy efficient option is ECM16CU. This is a 1.65HP variable speed motor. You can adjust the speeds on this motor from 600-3450 rpm.

The next option is a dual speed motor. We would recommend model B2982T. This is a full rated 1HP dual speed motor (1725 or 3450 rpm). The total HP is 1.65. This makes it slightly stronger than your current motor.
