I’m having a problem with my pool light. Every time the timer tries to turn on the light, the GFCI switch blows. I reset the GFCI, reset the timer and manually turned on the pool light. It would go off at the appointed time but then not come on again as the switch was blown by then. A week or so later, the pump started doing the exact same thing and blew the switch - I did the same timer re-set, etc and nothing changed. I am now bypassing the timers and the equipment just goes off whenever. Now after a day or two the salt water chlorinator is tripping it’s GFCI switch as well. This switch is not on a timer at all so I’m at a total loss. Any ideas on what is going on? The pool is just now 1 year old. Everything is a hayward product if it matters. 1 1/2 hp, 15,000 gal inground liner pool.
