Jandy 120V color light cycling through colors

Hello-  I have a Jandy 120 V led color light that I had installed about 5 years ago.  At the same time, I installed the same smaller version color light in my spa which spills into the pool.  The light operated perfect for years up until last Fall where it began to arbitrarily start to cycle through the different color settings. The lights are part of an aqua link system that is 13 years old and I also have a 4 button control spa switch. Occasionally, in the early years, particularly with a power failure, the synch between the spa and pool light would get thrown off and I was able to reset it by waiting the 13 seconds after turning it on and then cycling it on and off eventually getting to the selected color and then the lights would flicker and it would save in memory.

My current problem is that even if I reset both the pool and spa light back to a synched version, within a few minutes, it looks like the main pool light starts cycling through the variety of colors and patterns on its own. Eventually, the spa light starts to do the same thing. But rarely are the two lights in synch after it starts doing its own thing.

I’m not sure whether it could be a sticky button or failure on my 4 button spa link, or a failure internally on the large pool light, or something else altogether. The spa buttons appear to work fine when I cycle the light on and off.

Any troubleshooting help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. Scott
