InGround Pool Leaf Net 18' x 40' - LN18404

Hello.  I live in the Houston, TX area.  Have never needed to “winterize” my in-ground pool.  However, I have numerous Live Oak Trees in the yard around the pool that drop thousands and thousands of leaves beginning in November through early March.

I saw the InGround Pool Leaf Net 18’ x 40’ - LN18404 and think this is what I need to make leaf clean up and removal easier. Your site suggest that this be used over a winter pool cover.  Can this be used “as is” without placing over a winter cover?  In reviewing the details of the Leaf Net it seems like this would work just fine for my purposes by itself.

In addition to the cable and winch that comes with the cover what and/or how many water tubes are recommend for this size pool cover?

Thank you.

Hello John - The inground leaf net can be used by itself. A winter cover used underneath is recommended if you completely close the pool.

The cable and winch are only included with the above ground leaf nets. A cable and winch would not work with the inground leaf net.

The leaf net does not have water tube loops. There are grommets around the edge of the leaf net. You could use some cord to secure the net to the tubes. An 18’x40’ cover would require 12-10’ tubes and 1-8’ tube. Some customers have used cord to connect the leaf net to stakes around the yard.
