Hello:

We have a failed Jandy “Large Watercolors” LED pool light. Rather than replace the light engine, I would like to use a Pentair Amerlite 784 series light and a LED Pool Bulb Color Changing 120V 35W (your # PL5809).

My question regards the Jandy PDA control system: will the original program work? Or, will we have to simply cycle the new light on-and-off to change light colors and displays?

The Jandy light was installed in an original Amerlite niche, in our concrete pool shell.

Hello HRoosa - The original Jandy program will not work. You’ll have to turn the light off and on to cycle through the different colors and light shows.
