How do you install a booster pump onto a pool without a booster pump and has a Jandy Ray-Vac System?

I have a pool outfitted with a low-suction Jandy Ray-Vac System. I am currently using a Polaris 360, but it isn’t cutting it anymore with the Georgia weather. So, I am looking to upgrade the system. I am unsure of how I would go about installing a booster pump and where on my existing pool equipment it would go. I have space on the pad but I don’t know where I would cut into the existing cleaner lines and how to get power to the pump. Would I have to run a new electric line or tap into my existing pool equipment panel (I think there is a free space on it) and where would I cut existing cleaner lines and add new lines to the existing cleaner lines? I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Alan - It would not be common to add a booster pump to an existing pool. Those pumps are added when the pool is being built so that it has a dedicated return line. Click Here to view the Polaris Booster Pump Installation Manual.

My recommendation would be to go with a robotic pool cleaner over a pressure side pool cleaner and booster pump. It will be much more energy-efficient.
