help me identify my filter model

I need to replace the “spider” in my Hayward Pro-Grid filter and cannot really find or further identify the model of the filter–if there is one other than Pro-Grid–so I can order the proper piece.

By “spider” I mean the plastic unit inside that distributes the water form the pump over the grids .

Mine is cracked and I cannot get proper foltration.

Any help?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Gary,

Are you needing the complete multiport valve or just the spider gasket which goes inside the valve? Here is a link to the Hayward Pro-Grid Valve Parts Diagram, please let me know which parts you are needing. Do you know if the plumbing going into the valve is 1.5" or 2"? Could you post a few photos of your filter and valve so we can determine the exact valve that you have?

Thank You

Patrick

Patrick,

Sorry for my misuse of terms --what I needed and ordered from Inyo yesterday was a Manifold for the filter unit.

Thanks for the reply but I think I have the proper parts ordered.

Gary

Thanks Gary, let us know how it turns out, if you need any help please let us know.

Hi,

im trying to determine the correct model of my pro grid filter. To see how much DE I need to add initially and after each time I backwash. Also what would be the normal operating pressure and what is the pressure when to backwash.

It measures 40.5 from top of the vent valve to bottom.

Hi Manny,

You will require these DE Grids for 48 Sq. Ft. DE Filter
