Hi Harry! This Century B2983 motor is a perfect replacement for the one in your picture.
Gaskets tend to flatten out over time and can leak if they are reused, so we highly recommend getting a tune-up kit for your pump for a leak-free installation. At a minimum, get a new motor shaft seal. Here are a few tips for replacing the motor and replacing the shaft seal. Be sure to keep your fingers off of the sealing surfaces of the shaft seal, since the oils in your skin can damage them over time.
Note that new laws are requiring variable-speed motors in some states. They really can save you a lot on your electric bill and can easily pay for themselves over their lifetime. Note that some automation systems may not play well with a non-OEM variable speed motor. This EVQ225 motor would be the variable-speed motor option for your pump if you need it or if you want to try it out.
