HELP - Hayward Max Flow VS Pump (model SP2302VSP) stopped running....

I have a Hayward Max Flow VS Pump (model SP2302VSP) that stopped running.

The control panel shows no power at the power LED, so no error codes displayed or anything - the only LED that lights up is the one above the V2 button - see attached pix for the control panel.

The panel is receiving 220v AC, but power LED does not light…

I could find no fuses in the unit and the circuit breaker was not tripped (I reset it anyway but no joy).

As best as I can tell, the control panel identifiers are: 251-5147 and the Control Panel Board seems to be 16-0754.

I tried searching for all of the numbers and words printed on the PCB: “HANNING”; “SYKOM BT 2014 V2.1”; “BTI ML-2”; “DC 94V-0”; “766.0081” - all items together and individually - all with no luck…

I have included thumbnails of the control panel a well as the board itself and I have also attached pics - I am sure I could replace the board, but I am having trouble finding it - any suggestions of where I can get the board or can anyone steer me in the right direction?

I got the pump in April 2015 and it has functioned well with no problems till now…

Hi,

This pump has been discontinued, and the components inside the drive are not available as individual replacement parts. Typically, the drive itself would be replaced; however, a replacement drive for this model is no longer available.

At this point, your options are to either replace the motor with a compatible generic motor or replace the entire pump with the newer model. If you’d like, I can provide a quote for both options so you can compare.

Thanks Tyler, but I already replaced the pump with a new VS one and it works great.

Amazingly, I posted this question on 11-20-25, but apparently it was “on hold” till 1-8-26 while the staff reviewed it?!?!?

I guess the staff took a very long Thanksgiving holiday, extending it to include Christmas and New Years……

Anyway, thanks for your reply.
