I have a 24 foot above ground pool. I replaced the sand in the filter this season. The Hayward Vari- Flo valve only worrks in the Circulate position. All other settings discharge water from the pool. I’ve replaced the Vari-Flo Valve model SP710G11M and it did not fix the problem. I have no leaks around the Valve - Any Ideas Thanks
Hi Shirley,
Can you double check that you have the hoses going to the right ports on the valve. The port that says “Pump” should have the hose from the pump and the port on the valve that says “Return” should be the hose going back to the pool. I know this sounds silly but this happens quite often and is a good starting point.

I checked hoses - they were correct. For some reason valve is turning to other functions for the pool filter but only one setting is working?
